The role of the Junior Estimator – Design & Build will involve:
* Junior Estimator position promoting a manufactured range of commercial and residential design & build projects
* Support the Managing Director with the preparation and submission of tenders for commercial and residential design & build projects
* Assist in reviewing project requirements, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate understanding of scope
* Help produce detailed cost estimates aligned with client requirements
* Liaise with internal teams to gather information and ensure deadlines are met
* Attend project handover meetings to build understanding of live projects and processes
* Assist with variations, project valuations, and tracking work in progress for client submissions
The ideal applicant will be an Junior Estimator – Design & Build with:
* Must have a related degree within the construction industry
* Ideal for a candidate who’s looking to step and grow into an Estimator role
* Ideally been had technical experience within a subcontractor
* Highly advantageous to have Estimating experience
* Good communication skills both written and verbal
* Logical thinker with excellent numeracy skills
* Robust, positive outlook and team player
