About the Role
Our client, an established Mechanical Services Contractor, is looking for an organised and dependable Office Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of the office.

This is a varied role, providing general admin support across the business and helping to keep things running smoothly. You’ll work closely with the Office Manager and other team members, supporting with routine office tasks and helping out where needed.

This role would suit someone with good admin experience who is looking to build on their skills in a busy office environment, ideally within construction or engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Office Support

* Help with the day-to-day running of the office

* Keep filing systems and records up to date

* Order and monitor office supplies

* Make sure the office is kept organised and presentable

* Support the Office Manager with general tasks

General Administration

* Provide admin support to the wider team

* Update spreadsheets, trackers and internal records

* Prepare basic documents, letters and reports

* Manage incoming calls, emails and post

* Assist with new starter paperwork and general HR admin

Purchasing & Basic Accounts Support

* Raise purchase orders

* Help check and process supplier invoices

* Keep records of orders and costs

* Input information onto company systems

Coordination & Communication

* Act as a first point of contact for general enquiries

* Help arrange meetings and manage diaries

* Liaise with suppliers and customers where required

* Support communication between office and site teams

* Assist with organising team meetings or small office events

Skills & Experience

Essential

* Previous experience in an admin or office role

* Good organisation and time management

* Clear and professional communication skills

* Able to manage a varied workload

* Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
