This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong Mechanical Project Manager to join a well-established construction and building services contractor delivering a diverse range of projects across London, typically valued between £100k and £1m.
This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys being close to the detail, taking full ownership of delivery, and working across multiple projects rather than being tied to a single long-term project.

Operating as a smaller, agile contractor, they offer a more hands-on and engaging environment where Project Managers are trusted to take ownership and play a key role in project success.
The Role – Mechanical Project Manager
You will be responsible for delivering multiple mechanically biased projects, taking full ownership of both programme and commercial performance from pre-construction through to completion.
Projects include plant upgrades, HVAC installations, smoke extract systems, refurbishment works, and specialist building services packages, often within live or technically sensitive environments.
This is a delivery-focused role requiring strong technical understanding and the ability to manage projects end-to-end with a high level of ownership and accountability.
Responsibilities
* Managing multiple M&E projects from pre-construction through to completion
* Full ownership of programme, cost control, and delivery strategy
* Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers
* Overseeing installation, commissioning, and handover processes
* Working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams
* Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within M&E Building Services
* Strong technical knowledge across HVAC, plant rooms, pipework, and associated systems
* Experience delivering projects typically in the £100k–£1m range
* Ability to manage both commercial and operational aspects of projects
* Stable career background demonstrating consistency and progression
* Detail-oriented, delivery-focused approach suited to a smaller contractor environment
Remuneration Package – Mechanical Project Manager
* £70,000–£85,000
* Company car or car allowance
