Rigger

We are looking for experienced Riggers for an upcoming project within an industrial environment. The role involves the safe movement, positioning, installation, and removal of equipment, pipework, and structural components to support process systems, utilities, and plant operations. Candidates should have strong experience in industrial rigging activities, including lifting operations, equipment handling, and working alongside mechanical and fabrication teams. Training can be provided for specific site requirements. NAECI rates will apply on this site.

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as an industrial rigger in sectors such as manufacturing, chemical processing, utilities, energy, or heavy engineering.

Competence in rigging, lifting, and moving loads using cranes, hoists, slings, shackles, and other lifting equipment.

Ability to interpret lifting plans, method statements, and engineering drawings.

*

Strong understanding of safe lifting practices, load calculations, and equipment selection.

Knowledge of industrial safety standards, permit‑to‑work systems, and risk assessments.

Relevant qualification or certification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship)
