Plater
We are looking for experienced Platers for an upcoming project within an industrial environment. The role involves the fabrication, assembly, and installation of structural steelwork, supports, frames, and plate components to support process systems, utilities, and plant operations. Candidates should have strong experience in industrial plating, including marking out, cutting, forming, and assembling steel components from drawings. Training can be provided for specific site requirements. NAECI rates will apply on this site.

Proven experience as an plater in sectors such as manufacturing, chemical processing, utilities, energy, or heavy engineering.

Competence in marking out, cutting, forming, and fabricating steel plate and structural components.

Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, isometrics, and technical schematics.

Strong understanding of fabrication techniques, tolerances, and material handling.
*
Knowledge of industrial safety standards, permit‑to‑work systems, and risk assessments.
*
Relevant trade qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).

Advantageous: experience working alongside welders, pipefitters, and mechanical teams
