LEAD INFORMATION
• Job Title: Building Surveyor
• Site location: Plymouth
• Responsible to: Senior Building Surveyor / Director
• Purpose of the role: To support the delivery of professional building surveying, project management, and contract administration services across a varied property portfolio, ensuring successful project outcomes and strong client relationships.
• Client brief: Our client is a well-established and growing property consultancy with a strong regional presence, delivering professional surveying and project services across multiple sectors. KEY INFORMATION
• Reason for vacancy: Business growth and team expansion
• Contract: Permanent
• Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 (dependent on experience)
• Shifts: Monday to Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES
• The role:
* Deliver professional building surveying services across a varied portfolio
* Support contract administration and project delivery functions
* Assist with project management responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Undertake site visits, inspections, and reporting
* Work across multiple property sectors on both professional and project-led instructions
* Contribute to successful project execution from inception through to completion
• Key Skills Required:
* 2–3+ years’ experience post relevant degree
* Consultancy background (essential)
* Exposure to contract administration and/or project management
* Ideally APC qualified, recently chartered, or actively working towards RICS chartership
* Strong communication and client-facing capability
* Good organisational and technical surveying skills
* Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
* Full UK driving licence preferred
