We are seeking an experienced Civil & Structural Engineer to join a leading Energy Transition team, supporting the design and delivery of innovative, low-carbon infrastructure projects.

This is an opportunity to work on next-generation and first-of-a-kind energy technologies, contributing to projects that span the full asset lifecycle-from concept development through to detailed design, construction, commissioning, and operation.

You will play a key role in delivering practical, efficient and cost-effective structural engineering solutions within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop civil and structural engineering solutions across feasibility, concept, FEED, value engineering, and detailed design stages
Produce key engineeringdeliverables including:
Structural 3D models
Design calculations and technical reports
General arrangement (GA) drawings
Pipe support designs
Foundation designs and RC detailing
Support development of integrated 3D plant models and layouts
Work closely with equipment vendors to develop and refine package designs
Participate in technical evaluations and design reviews
Contribute to proposals, bids, and multidisciplinary tender submissions
Provide support across project lifecycle stages, including potential site involvement during construction and commissioning

Required Skills & Experience

Degree in Civil, Structural, or related Engineering discipline
Working towards Chartered Engineer status with a recognised professional institution
Strong experience in civil and structural detailed design within energy or industrial sectors
Solid understanding of national and international design codes and standards
Strong knowledge of the engineering design process, including scope development and calculation production
Proficiency in structural and CAD design tools, including:
Autodesk Revit
AutoCAD
Tekla
Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis (or STAAD Pro)
Civil 3D (desirable)
Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams and contributing to integrated design models
Strong communication skills with experience engaging clients, contractors, and vendors

Multi-disciplinary energy developments across UK and international marketsYou will be working alongside developers, utilities, government bodies, EPC contractors, OEMs, and financial stakeholders.
