Qa Engineer

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join a major highways package in Norwich, focusing on drainage works. This is a long-term contract opportunity on a high-profile infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities:

* Implement and maintain quality assurance processes on site

* Oversee drainage installation works to ensure compliance with specifications and standards

* Review and manage Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation

* Conduct site inspections, audits, and ensure works meet required quality benchmarks

* Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives

* Identify non-conformances and drive corrective actions

* Maintain accurate QA records and reporting

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a QA Engineer within highways or civil engineering projects

* Strong knowledge of drainage systems and installation

* Familiarity with relevant standards and specifications (e.g. DMRB, MCHW)

* Experience with ITPs, QA documentation, and auditing

* CSCS card (essential)

* Strong communication and organisational skills
