We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Damper Engineer to carry out inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire and smoke damper systems, units, and associated control panels to ensure compliance with safety regulations and optimal functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of fire and smoke damper systems and units.
Perform routine maintenance, testing, and repairs on dampers and control panels.
Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in damper systems and related equipment.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Ensure all work complies with local fire safety regulations, standards, and company policies.
Provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements as needed.
Collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.Requirements:

Proven experience in fire damper inspection, maintenance, and repair.
Strong understanding of fire and smoke damper systems, HVAC interfaces, and control panels.
Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
Valid [Insert any required certifications, e.g., Fire Safety, Electrical, or HVAC certifications].Desirable:

Experience with automated fire/smoke control panels.
Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.
Willingness to travel to various sites as required.
