Quantity Surveyor – Major Infrastructure Project (West London)
Contract | Inside IR35 | £500-£600 per day | Minimum 6 months
Hybrid: 3 days on site / 2 days remote

A leading infrastructure contractor is seeking a driven and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join a flagship project in West London. This is a high-profile major infrastructure project offering the opportunity to work within a complex, fast-paced environment, contributing to the successful commercial delivery of a major programme.

The Role
You will play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of the project, working closely with the commercial lead and wider delivery team. The position requires a proactive approach to cost management, contract administration, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Managing subcontractor procurement, administration, and final accounts
Preparing and reviewing applications for payment and cost reports
Identifying, managing, and mitigating commercial risks
Administration of the NEC contract
Supporting change management and valuation of variations
Liaising with project teams to ensure accurate financial control and forecasting
Requirements

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects in the UK
Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a high-value environment
Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
