Assistant Site Manager

Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the development through to completion. This will involve helping to meet programme deadlines, quality standards, and cost objectives by effectively coordinating the site team and subcontractors.
Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting the Site Manager with the organisation of trades, labour, and materials to ensure the build programme stays on track
• Collaborating with the Sales Team by attending regular Sales/Build meetings, following agreed procedures, and carrying out inspections of show homes
• Taking on additional duties as required by the Site Manager, including stepping in to cover their responsibilities when necessary
• Supporting the Site Manager in ensuring the site team is properly resourced, clearly directed, and equipped with the guidance, communication, and training needed to perform effectively
• Delivering a high standard of customer service in line with company expectations
What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience working to structured construction programmes
• A confident and proactive approach to ensuring site teams and subcontractors meet targets
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt priorities as business needs change
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and relevant regulations, including Health & Safety, NHBC standards, and Building Regulations
• Solid experience in handling customer service matters effectively
