We are working in partnership with a highly reputable and long-established electrical contractor based in the West Midlands, seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their growing commercial team.

The Role
As Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction team, responsible for producing accurate and competitive tenders across a variety of electrical installation projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
* Value engineering and proposing alternative solutions where appropriate
* Working closely with internal teams including design, commercial and operations
* Supporting handover of successful tenders to delivery teams
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within a contracting environment
* Strong knowledge across multiple sectors such as commercial, industrial, retail or public sector projects
* Experience pricing a range of electrical systems including LV distribution, lighting, small power, fire alarms, security systems, and infrastructure works
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* A strong commercial mindset with attention to detail
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
Experience with sustainable or energy-efficient installations would be highly advantageous.
