Job Overview
Project Architect role delivering a long-term education project in Bedford. You will lead a school development across all RIBA stages, combining remote working with weekly site visits. This position suits an experienced architect with strong education sector knowledge and DfE familiarity, confident managing technical delivery and stakeholder coordination throughout a multi-year programme.

Role & Responsibilities

Lead project delivery across all RIBA stages
Coordinate design and technical output using Revit
Attend weekly site visits to monitor progress
Manage stakeholder meetings and project communication
Ensure compliance with DfE standards
Collaborate with consultants and internal teams
Maintain programme deadlines and quality standards
Support business development activities
Produce and manage project documentation
Report on progress and delivery milestonesSkills & Experience Required

Qualified Architect with ARB registration
10+ years post-qualification experience with strong knowledge of education projects
Proven knowledge of DfE standards and frameworks
Ability to manage projects independently
High proficiency in Revit
Experience delivering UK-based education schemes
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
Confident in technical design and project delivery
Effective communication across project teams
Organised approach to hybrid working environmentsSalary & Benefits
£43,000 – £60,000 depending on experience.
25 days leave plus bank holidays, pension scheme, private medical (discounted), death in service, EAP, cycle to work scheme, and employee ownership opportunity after qualifying period.
