2fawcett Infrastructure have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor working for a leading contractor in the highways sector. The position will be a predominantly on site, with the majority of work being at nightshift.

The Role

* Assist with managing and maintaining the Integrated Management System and associated ISO accreditations [9001, 14001 and 45001]

* Write clear and concise reports, procedures, and guidance documents.

* Reviewing RAMS

* Liaising with Site Management

* Co-operate and implement company and individual HSW targets and objectives.

* Undertaking Site Inspections – These will be predominantly at night time.

* Liaising with Site Teams

* Performing thorough investigations to offer root cause analysis and conclusions for all accidents, incidents and high potential near-misses.

Candidate Requirements

* NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate or equivalent [desired]

* IOSH Managing Safely (Minimum)

* Construction/Highways experience [preferred but not essential]

* Highway’s experience [preferred but not essential]

* Understanding of MS Office Suite

* Good communicator with external and internal stakeholders

* Desire to learn and implement sector specific knowledge.

* Willing to work night shift.

* Full driving licence

* Undertake Drug & Alcohol testing.

* Undertake safety critical medical.

* CSCS – Desirable.
