An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Architect to join a leading AJ100 multi-disciplinary Architectural & Engineering Consultancy based in Sheffield.

This role offers the chance to join a busy retail team, contributing to the delivery of fast-paced, high-volume projects across the UK, with a strong focus on construction stages (RIBA Stages 4–6).

The Role

We are seeking an Architect with around 3 years’ post-qualification experience to join a dynamic and busy retail team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is keen to develop their technical and delivery expertise.

The successful candidate will be heavily involved in the later stages of projects (RIBA Stages 4–6), focusing on technical design, production information, and on-site coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the delivery of projects across RIBA Stages 4–6

Producing detailed technical drawings and construction packages

Working closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams

Assisting with on-site coordination and project delivery

Ensuring compliance with current building regulations and standards

Contributing to the efficient delivery of multiple fast-paced retail projects

Key Requirements

ARB/RIBA Qualified Architect with circa 3 years’ post-qualification experience

Experience working on UK-based projects, ideally within retail, commercial, or similar fast-paced sectors

Strong technical ability with experience in construction stages

Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; Revit experience would be advantageous

Good communication and organisational skills

Ability to manage workload across multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
