The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Planner to join a growing regional team, supporting both pre-construction and live project delivery. This is a key role within the business, working closely with bid, commercial, and operational teams to develop and manage robust project programmes. You will be involved from early-stage tender planning through to construction delivery, ensuring programmes are realistic, accurate, and aligned with project objectives.

As Planner, you will be responsible for:

Producing and maintaining detailed project programmes using Astra Powerproject

Supporting bid teams with tender programmes, methodology, and sequencing

Working alongside project teams to monitor progress and update programmes accordingly

Identifying risks, constraints, and opportunities within project timelines

Contributing to the development of construction methodologies and phasing plans

Producing regular progress reports and programme updates for stakeholders

Supporting the commercial team with programme-related information

Ensuring alignment with NEC contract requirements where applicable

The Ideal Candidate
The successful Planner will have:

Previous experience in a Planning role within the construction industry

Strong working knowledge of Astra Powerproject (essential)

Exposure to NEC forms of contract (preferred)

Experience supporting both tender and live project planning activities

Good understanding of construction processes and sequencing

Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders

A proactive and detail-oriented approach
