Junior Mechanical Project Manager

Involve Recruitment are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Mechanical Project Manager to join our clients mechanical operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a plumbing background who is ready to step into project management and build a long-term career within a professional and growing company.
You will work closely with a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager, gaining hands-on experience across live commercial projects while developing the skills required to manage projects independently.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of mechanical (plumbing & HVAC) projects
* Support the management of project timelines, budgets, and resources
* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
* Monitor site progress and ensure works meet required standards and specifications
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
* Attend site meetings and contribute to project reporting
Requirements
* NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (essential)
* Commercial project experience (preferred)
* Strong work ethic and a desire to progress into project management
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Basic understanding of mechanical systems and installations
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
