Fraser Edwards is currently working with a high-end residential property company to source a reliable Daytime Porter for a Front of House role based in Central London.

This role requires not only a professional and approachable manner but also strong organisational and observational skills to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the building.

The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and contractors, providing excellent customer service while maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and presentation of the property.

The role plays a key part in delivering a high standard of living for residents by supporting building operations, managing access, and ensuring communal areas are well maintained. As a valued member of the on-site team, the porter will contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment.

The Role:

* Front of House / Resident Service: Provide a professional, friendly presence and assist residents with day-to-day queries.

* Contractor Management / Site Control: Manage contractor access, including sign-in/out procedures and ensuring compliance with site rules.

* Deliveries, Post & Parcels: Receive, log, and securely manage all incoming deliveries in line with procedures.

* Key Management / Security Support: Maintain control of keys and support overall building security.

* Flat Checks: Carry out authorised flat checks, recording findings and reporting any issues.

* Communal Area Upkeep: Maintain high presentation standards through light cleaning and regular checks.

* Building Walkabouts: Conduct routine inspections to identify and report defects or hazards.

* Basic Maintenance Support: Assist with minor non-technical tasks and escalate maintenance issues.

* Reporting & Communication: Keep accurate daily records and maintain clear communication with staff and residents.

Candidate Requirements:

Previous Experience: Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently.
Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high standards across the building.
Health & Safety Awareness: Basic understanding of safety practices.
IT Skills: Basic computer literacy required for logging and communication.
