Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor – Construction 
Plymouth
Up to £70,000 (DOE) Excellent Package

A highly reputable and well-established construction client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Plymouth.

The Role:
You will play a key role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of projects from inception through to completion. Working closely with project teams, you’ll ensure cost efficiency, value, and compliance throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting

Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts

Procurement and management of subcontractors

Identify and mitigate commercial risks

Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams

Ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards

Requirements:

Proven experience as a QS or SQS within the construction industry

Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

Experience across multiple sectors (desirable)

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
