Senior Designer – Commercial Fit-Out

Our client is a specialist subcontractor within the commercial fit-out sector, delivering high-quality projects across a range of high-profile schemes. They are looking to appoint a Senior Designer to take a key role in the delivery of large-scale projects, working closely with the design, project delivery, and site teams.

The role will involve producing and overseeing technical design information, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal teams, and supporting projects from design stage through to manufacture and installation.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce and review detailed drawing packs, layouts, sections, and schedules
Lead the delivery of design information across live projects
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and wider design teams to ensure design intent is achieved
Manage design programmes and ensure key deadlines are met
Support and advise site teams to ensure accurate and high-quality installation
Resolve technical design queries throughout the project lifecycle
Contribute to technical detailing and design-led solutions
Support and mentor junior members of the design team where requiredExperience Required:

Strong experience working on commercial fit-out or interiors projects
Proven background producing technical design deliverables
Experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, and wider design teams
Ability to manage projects from design stage through to manufacture and installation
Strong understanding of buildability, detailing, and technical coordinationSkillset:

Strong AutoCAD skills
Good working knowledge of Excel
Revit, InDesign, or Photoshop would be beneficial
Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
Ability to manage workload, priorities, and programme deadlines
Confident communication skills across internal and external teams
