Senior Quantity Surveyor

Randstad Construction and Property

Commercial Lead (Senior QS) | White City | £25m Portfolio

Rate: £375- £450 (Paid via CIS) Location: White City (4 days onsite / 1 day WFH) Duration: 12-Month Initial Portfolio Oversight

Are you a Senior QS who prefers the site office to the head office? We are looking for a Commercial Lead with an "ops" mindset to steer a £25m retail portfolio over the next 12 months. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who understands that successful commercial management happens at the intersection of the spreadsheet and the site.

The Mission

Manage the Mix: Lead approximately 10 active retail projects under a variety of JCT and Construction Management (CM) contracts.

Operations-First: We need more than a cost-reporter. You'll be a "Commercial Project Manager," ensuring operational delivery and commercial targets move in lockstep.

Strategic Oversight: Drive procurement, manage variations, and lead final account settlements across the full £25m pipeline.

The Profile

Expertise: Extensive Senior QS experience within retail or fast-track fit-out.

Contract Savvy: Expert knowledge of JCT and CM procurement routes.

The "Ops" Edge: Previous experience in operations or direct project management is highly desirable.

Setup: Must be comfortable with 4 days per week in White City and registered for CIS.

The Benefits

Hassle-Free Pay: Paid via CIS.

Prime Location: Based in the heart of White City's regeneration zone.

Visibility: Lead a significant portfolio with a direct line to the board.
