Assistant Site Manager – Contract Role (6 Months)
Location: Bedfordshire
Start Date: Immediate

We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a busy construction project on a 6-month contract basis in the Bedfordshire area.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in groundworks and industrial warehouse projects, who can support the Site Manager in delivering works safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting in the day-to-day management of site operations

* Supervising and coordinating site labour

* Managing subcontractors and ensuring work is completed to specification

* Overseeing site logistics and maintaining efficient workflow

* Completing and maintaining QA documentation and site records

* Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld at all times

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a similar Assistant Site Manager role

* Strong background in groundworks and industrial/warehouse construction projects

* Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site activities

* Good understanding of QA processes and site documentation

* Excellent communication and organisational skills
