Construction Manager formwork

A well-established contractor with a strong pipeline across general construction and civil engineering is looking for an experienced Formwork Construction Manager to be based out of Milton Keynes. You will take full responsibility for managing multiple live contracts simultaneously, ranging in value from £50,000 to £500,000, ensuring delivery on time, to budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

* Oversee multiple formwork contracts across general construction and civils sectors

* Direct management of up to 30 joiners and steel fixers on site

* Programme planning, sequencing, and progress reporting

* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and CDM regulations

* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and design teams

* Monitor and control contract costs and budgets

* Drive quality standards and resolve on-site issues efficiently

Requirements

* Proven background in formwork construction management

* SSSTS Gold Card (minimum) — essential

* Experience managing joiners and steel fixers

* Track record across general construction and civil engineering

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Sound understanding of programme management and budgetary control

* Full UK driving licence
