Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We’re currently working with a well-established construction company based in Southampton, specialising in fit-out projects across the commercial and education sectors. With a strong pipeline of work including school refurbishments and office fit-outs, they are looking to bring on an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support their growing commercial team. They are completely open in terms of working setup, offering both hybrid and fully remote (WFH) flexibility.

The Role:

* Supporting the commercial team across multiple fit-out projects

* Assisting with cost management, valuations, and variations

* Working closely with project managers and site teams

* Helping to ensure projects are delivered on budget and to a high standard

What They’re Looking For:

* Experience or a strong interest in Quantity Surveying

* Background in construction (fit-out experience is beneficial but not essential)

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
