Site Manager
An established main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for the internal works package on a major residential development in Leeds.
This is a key site-based role, overseeing the delivery of high-quality apartment interiors within a fast-paced, multi-storey new build environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing all internal fit-out activities from first fix through to final handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a consistently high standard.
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage sequencing, and maintain strict quality control throughout the internal packages.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day management of internal
Coordination and supervision of subcontractors on site
Driving programme performance and maintaining key milestones
Ensuring high standards of health & safety compliance at all times
Managing quality control, inspections, and snagging processes
Resolving on-site issues and coordinating trade interfaces
Supporting handover processes and achieving defect-free delivery
Reporting progress, risks, and site updates to senior managementAbout You
Strong background in internal packages and apartment fit-out delivery
Confident managing subcontractors and fast-moving programmes
SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and valid First Aid certification
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality finishes
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain programme targetsThe Opportunity
