Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and commercially minded Electrical Contracts Manager seeking more than a standard role. This position offers the chance to take ownership of a division, build and lead a team, drive profitability, and contribute to growth across high-end domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors.
This role is ideal for a fully qualified electrician with experience in contracts or project management, strong leadership capabilities, and a desire to develop and expand a business unit.
Key Benefits

Standard working hours:
07:30 – 16:30 or
08:00 – 17:00 (Monday to Friday)

The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will take full responsibility for managing multiple projects from initial enquiry through to completion, while also contributing to business development and departmental expansion.
This is a leadership-focused role with significant autonomy and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects from tender stage through to completion
Support business development activities and help secure new opportunities
Oversee projects across domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors
Recruit, develop, and manage a team of electricians and subcontractors
Conduct performance reviews and support team development
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards
Maintain responsibility for health and safety compliance
Prepare RAMS and associated documentation
Monitor costs, margins, and financial performance
Liaise professionally with clients and attend meetings as required
Candidate Requirements
Fully qualified electrician
Proven experience in project or contracts management
Strong leadership and team management skills
Commercial awareness and financial understanding
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Strong communication skills and professional manner
Willingness to travel to project sites (typically within 1–1.5 hours)
