Permanent role – always within an hour of Cardiff
Office and Site focussed Quantity Surveying role
Salary up to £65,000 + Package

Quantity Surveyor required for civil engineering and groundworks projects in the South Wales region.

Duties:
Take offs from drawings
Cost controls and cost reporting on up to 2 civil engineering projects, each valued at circa £2m – £6m.
Valuations, variations and budget control.
Should be self sufficient and be able to manage their own workload and responsibilities. A mixture of site based and office working.

Sites are always in the South Wales region
Working for a very established business
All clients are large blue chip construction organisations
Working in a team of Quantity Surveyors and Estimators
Reporting to Commercial Manager

Covering civil engineering and groundworks across both commercial, industrial and residential groundworks packages

Works will typically include:
Bulk excavation, Ground remediation, Ground beams and floor slabs, Pile caps, Foundations, Roads, Sewers, Hard and Soft Landscaping, etc
