Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant
Location: Harlow, Essex
Salary/Benefits: £26k – £42k + Training & Benefits
Due to recent growth, a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy is seeking a qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant to join their outfit. They are seeking someone who is able to articulate technical matters effectively to clients and can confidently conduct the full range of asbestos surveys. It would be advantageous to be based within a close proxemity to the M1 for easier access across the region. We can consider candidates from the following locations: Harlow, Cheshunt, Enfield, Potters Bar, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Watford, Bishop’s Stortford, Luton, Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City, High Wycombe, Slough, Beaconsfield, Aylesbury, Harrow, Wembley, Chigwell, Ilford, Barking, Romford, Hornchurch, Royston, Milton Keynes, Bletchley.
Experience / Qualifications:
* Will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
* Good track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant
* Fully conversant in HSG 264 guidelines
* Flexible to travel in line with company needs
* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
* Undertaking the full range of asbestos surveys (management, demolition and refurbishment)
* Servicing a wide variety of commercial and domestic client contracts
* Collating findings to produce detailed technical survey reports
* Creating detailed floorplans/schematic drawings
* Safely obtaining and bagging ACM samples
* Meeting with clients to provide updates on findings and to make appropriate recommendations
* Working to set deadlines and personal targets
* Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
