An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Construction Planner to join a leading contractor delivering major (£100M+) mission-critical projects across the UK and Europe. This is a rare opportunity for someone early in their planning career to work on complex, high-value projects while receiving hands-on training and mentorship from experienced planners.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to move beyond basic programme updates and develop a real understanding of how projects are built, sequenced, and delivered on site. You'll be working in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment where planning plays a key role in successful project delivery.

The business places strong emphasis on development, offering a clear progression path into Planner, Senior Planner, and Planning Manager roles.

Your Role as a Junior Construction Planner Will Include:

Supporting the development and maintenance of construction programmes
Assisting in aligning programme logic with site activities and installation sequencing
Working closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams
Helping track progress, update programmes, and produce reports
Supporting the identification of programme risks, delays, and coordination issues
Gaining exposure to BIM models and 4D planning tools
The Successful Junior Construction Planner Will Have:

Experience in construction planning or a relevant degree (Construction Management, Civil Engineering, etc.)
Basic understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery
Exposure to planning software such as Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject
Strong willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and a proactive mindset
