A leading global Construction Consultancy firm are now seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to take on a senior leadership role across a wide range of sectors. This Building Surveyor position offers the opportunity for a Building Surveyor to work within a multidisciplinary environment delivering a broad range of Building Surveying services.

The Company?
The successful Building Surveyor will be joining a well-established consultancy with a strong UK and international presence. The Building Surveyor will work within a collaborative team delivering projects across commercial, industrial and public sector assets. This role provides exposure to a varied portfolio including infrastructure, aviation, healthcare, education, residential and mixed-use developments.

The Role
As the Building Surveyor you will take a leading role in delivering building surveying services and managing key project workstreams.

The role will include:
* Delivery of building surveying services across multiple sectors
* Leading condition surveys and fire safety remediation programmes
* Preparing and reviewing specifications, tender documentation and technical reports
* Producing reports including condition surveys, options appraisals and due diligence
* Supporting design and project delivery at various RIBA stages
* Ensuring compliance with UK construction and health and safety legislation
* Managing client relationships and contributing to business development activities
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members

The Building Surveyor?
You will be an experienced and commercially aware individual with a strong background in Building Surveying within a consultancy environment.

The Building Surveyor must have:
* A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
* MRICS or FRICS accreditation
* Experience within private practice or consultancy
* Strong knowledge of UK legislation including health and safety, building regulations and the Building Safety Act
* Experience in surveying existing buildings, identifying defects and advising on repair and refurbishment
* Ability to lead projects and manage technical delivery
* Experience in client engagement and developing professional relationships
* Experience supporting junior surveyors, ideally including APC involvement
* Eligibility to obtain SC level clearance is advantageous
