Civil Engineer – Chacewater
We are working with a well-established client to recruit an experienced Civil Engineer to support a project based in Chacewater.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions across multiple sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to specification. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable contractor with a strong pipeline of work.
This is a temporary role with the potential to lead to a permanent position.
Civil Engineer Day to Day:
Managing and overseeing civil engineering projects from planning through to completion
Coordinating site activities, subcontractors, and materials
Ensuring works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and health & safety regulations
Producing and reviewing technical drawings and reports
Conducting site inspections and resolving any engineering issues
Liaising with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders
Monitoring project progress, budgets, and timelines
Ensuring quality control and compliance with industry standards
Maintaining accurate project documentation and records
Reporting to the Project Manager
Civil Engineer Requirements:
Proven experience as a Civil Engineer within construction or infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methods
Experience working on highways, drainage, or groundworks projects is desirable
Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree)
CSCS card required
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Full UK driving licence preferred
