Site Agent – Civils / Highways
Location: Yorkshire Region
Salary: Up to £65,000 dependent on experience
Additional: Car allowance / Company vehicle
Package: Healthcare plan, pension scheme and holiday allowance (26 days + BH)
Linsco are delighted to supporting our client, a well-established and forward-thinking civil engineering contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering civils and infrastructure projects.
Due to continued success and a strong pipeline of secured work across multiple frameworks, they are looking for driven and experienced Site Agents to join their growing team in the Yorkshire region.
This is a long-term opportunity to be part of a privately owned, people-focused business delivering a wide range of civil engineering and local highways projects.
The Role
As a Site Agent, you will take full ownership of project delivery on site, leading teams to safely deliver schemes on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Typical projects include (but are not limited to):
Local highways improvements
Junction upgrades
Cycleway schemes
Public realm worksYou will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered autonomously, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Full responsibility for day-to-day site operations and project delivery
Manage site teams, subcontractors and resources effectively
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company procedures
Oversee planning, programming and progress reporting
Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders
Ensure all documentation, permits, and RAMS are in place and adhered to
Drive quality and efficiency across all stages of deliveryRequirements
Proven experience as a Site Agent or Site Manager within civils / infrastructure projects
Strong background in highways or local authority works
Ability to deliver projects autonomously at Site Agent level
Degree qualified or equivalent (HNC/HND/NVQ) in Civil Engineering or related discipline
AP (Appointed Person – Lifting Operations, A61)
TWC (Temporary Works Coordinator)
SMSTS
CSCS Card
First Aid at Work
