Site Engineer

Apex Resources Limited are looking for a sharp, driven Site Engineer to join a busy heavy civils team in Wakefield on a temp to perm basis.

The successful candidate will need to be able to travel across West Yorkshire on various different projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

Setting out and surveying for key elements of civils works
Ensuring works are delivered to spec, programme, and quality standards
Supporting the site team with technical input and problem-solving
Managing QA, ITPs, and as-built records
Coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring compliance on site
Promoting and maintaining high health & safety standards
What We’re Looking For

Experience in heavy civils (roads, bridges, rail, or similar)
Strong setting out skills and familiarity with surveying equipment
Good understanding of drawings, specifications, and site processes
Proactive, organised, and confident communicator
Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or similar)
Contract Rate is negotiable dependant on experience

DRIVING LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL
