Resident Engineer (Civil Site Engineer) – National Grid Projects

Cardiff (Substation Site)
£400 per day (Contract – Long Term)We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Resident Engineer (Civil Site Engineer) to join a National Grid substation project based in Cardiff. This is a long-term contract opportunity working on critical infrastructure within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out line and level using a range of surveying equipment
Acting as Document Controller for all civil drawings
Supporting the civil site team with constructability reviews
Raising and managing Technical Queries (TQs)
Assisting with obtaining quotes and raising purchase orders
Producing and completing As-Built drawings

Essential Requirements

Proven experience working on a National Grid site
Must hold NG Persons certification
Strong understanding of National Grid Technical Specifications (NGTS)
Competent in setting out using surveying equipment
Ability to manage documentation and drawings effectively
Manual Handling certificationPlease note: candidates who do not meet the essential criteria will not be considered.
