Senior Revit Technician

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Revit Technician to join our Cardiff office and play a key role in the development and coordination of BIM deliverables across multiple projects.
The Role
As a Senior Revit Technician, you will lead the production and coordination of high-quality MEP Revit models and technical drawings, supporting engineers and project teams from concept through to construction.
You will be a key part of the BIM delivery process, helping to maintain standards, improve workflows, and ensure project information is delivered accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce detailed 2D and 3D MEP drawings and coordinated Revit models
* Lead BIM/Revit coordination across multidisciplinary project teams
* Work closely with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to develop design documentation
* Participate in clash detection and model coordination reviews
* Maintain and develop BIM standards, templates, and best practices
* Support junior technicians and provide mentoring where required
* Liaise with architects, contractors, and external consultants
* Ensure all drawings and models are delivered to programme and quality standards
* Contribute to continuous improvement of digital delivery processes
Requirements
* Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Building Services consultancy environment
* Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP
* Strong understanding of BIM Level 2 standards and coordinated design workflows
* Experience producing detailed MEP technical drawings and models
* Familiarity with Navisworks and AutoCAD
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Ability to manage workload across multiple projects independently
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Desirable Skills
* Experience working on complex or high-specification projects
* Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards
* Familiarity with Dynamo or other BIM automation tools
* Understanding of sustainability-led design and modern construction methods
