Junior Designer

I am currently working with a client of mine who are a well-established specialist contractor delivering major recladding projects across London and the South-East. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to appoint a Junior Cladding Designer to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of cladding industry experience who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and technically strong environment. The business operates as a Main Contractor on large-scale recladding schemes and can offer genuine long-term progression, training and mentorship from senior members of the team.

The Role

The successful candidate will support the design team across a range of façade and recladding projects, assisting with technical drawings, coordination and site-related design activities.

The role will involve a combination of office, home and site-based working, including travel across London projects where required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within the cladding / façade industry
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D
• Competent using PDF editing software and Microsoft Office
• Willing to travel to project sites across London and surrounding areas
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
