Location: Liverpool – Salary/Package: £35,000 – £40,000

A well-established construction and maintenance contractor delivering a wide range of public and private sector projects across the UK. The business is known for securing work through frameworks and competitive tenders, with a strong pipeline of repeat and negotiated business across education, healthcare, housing, and local authority sectors.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Bid Coordinator with strong administrative capability and proven exposure to PQQ and tender submission processes. You will support the pre-construction and estimating teams in the preparation, coordination, and submission of high-quality bids.

This is a key role in ensuring submissions are accurate, compliant, well-presented, and delivered within strict deadlines.

As Bid Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

Coordinating and managing PQQs, ITTs, and tender submissions from start to completion
Collating and formatting technical, commercial, and company information for bids
Maintaining and updating a library of standard bid content and case studies
Liaising with estimators, commercial teams, and operational staff to gather information
Ensuring all submissions are compliant, accurate, and submitted on time
Supporting the production of high-quality written content and presentations
Tracking bid progress and maintaining bid submission schedules and deadlines
Managing document control for all tender-related information

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Bid Coordinator will have:

Strong administration experience within construction or a similar industry
Proven experience working on PQQs and tender/bid submissions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
High attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work effectively as part of a fast-paced pre-construction team
