Assistant Project Manager (HVAC / Ductwork)
Assistant Project Manager (HVAC / Ductwork)
London & South East | Full-time | Permanent
£45,000 – £60,000 + company van & fuel card or car allowance + expenses + bonus + training allowance + quota
This role is aimed at someone who is ready for the next step rather than someone who has already spent years operating as a fully established Project Manager.
If you are currently working as a Ductwork Supervisor, HVAC Supervisor, Mechanical Site Manager or Project Engineer and are already taking responsibility for labour coordination, site management, client interaction and day-to-day delivery, this is the kind of opportunity that gives you a route into full project management with proper backing and support around you.
The company is a long-established HVAC and ductwork contractor delivering projects across restaurants, hospitality, retail and leisure environments throughout London and the UK. Their projects tend to move quickly, often involving live environments, tight programmes and repeat clients who expect high standards and good communication throughout.
Most projects range between £100k and £2m and can include restaurant fit outs, theatre refurbishments, high-end retail units and leisure venues. Because the work is varied and fast paced, they are looking for someone practical, organised and proactive rather than somebody who only wants to sit behind spreadsheets.
You will work alongside experienced senior project managers initially, learning the commercial and operational side of project delivery whilst gradually taking more ownership of your own projects over time.
The role will be split between the Hertfordshire office, project sites across London and the South East, and home working following successful completion of probation. Travel is an important part of the role, with some projects running nationally depending on client requirements.
