Salary: £55,000 – £60,000

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of construction projects across a varied portfolio, including schools, residential housing, and commercial developments. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership on site, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and trades to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations across education, residential, and commercial projects
Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations and company standards
Monitor programme progress and ensure key milestones are achieved
Conduct site inspections and quality checks throughout the build process
Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders effectively
Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
Resolve on-site issues quickly and efficiently to avoid delays

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction
Strong background delivering projects across schools, residential housing, and commercial builds
Excellent understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and site management
SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card preferred), and First Aid certification
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and safety
