Senior Project Manager
Senior PM | D&B Fit-Out | London – Earnings north of £150,000
Somewhere in London there’s currently a PM updating their 19th spreadsheet of the week while a client, two subcontractors and a designer all argue about a glazed manifestation detail nobody noticed three months ago.
This role is for the person who walks into that situation and sorts it out in 10 minutes.
I’m working with a seriously sharp commercial fit-out contractor that has grown over 200% in recent years without losing the plot culturally. They have a model – it works, well – they are adding to the team.
They’re looking for a seasoned Senior PM with proper D&B experience. Someone client-facing, commercially aware and capable of running high-spec fit-out projects (2/3 at a time) up to c£2.5m (sweet-spot £1m), without needing constant supervision.
They need someone who:
Builds relationships naturally
Handles subcontractors properly
Picks up the phone instead of writing essays on email
Keeps projects moving
Makes problems disappear quietly
Can hold their own without acting like Alan Sugar on siteThis could suit someone coming from a larger fit-out contractor who’s bored of internal politics, approval processes and meetings about meetings. Or, someone from a good SME contractor who likes being hands-on and getting things done properly.
No corporate theatre.
No layers of management.
Just a good business growing quickly and looking for proper operators.
A very healthy basic with a commission that would take your earnings north of £150,000 + one of the finest perks for work life balance I have ever come across
Confidential conversations welcome.
