Freelance Quantity Surveyor

We are currently seeking a Freelance Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a residential development project based in the Arundel area. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role within a well-structured site team on a substantial multi-phase scheme.

The Role:

* 6-month freelance contract with an immediate start available

* Working 4 days per week on site and 1 day from home

* Acting as the lead QS on site for this project

* Supported by a part-time Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS) and a visiting Commercial Manager

* Involvement across 2 phases of a residential scheme, totalling approximately 350 units

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing commercial aspects of the project on site

* Cost control, valuations, and reporting

* Liaising with site teams and senior commercial staff

* Supporting delivery across both phases of the development

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on traditional build residential projects

* Background working with recognisable housebuilders or developers

* Ability to operate independently while collaborating with a small team

* Strong commercial and communication skills
