At Hays Construction, I am delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded boutique main contractor based in Edinburgh to appoint an experienced MEP Manager.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business with a strong pipeline of high-quality residential and commercial developments, all within the Edinburgh region.
Projects are typically up to £50m in value, offering real variety and complexity without the demands of national travel.

Your New Role

As MEP Manager, you will play a pivotal role across the full project lifecycle, with the opportunity to get involved from early design stages through to successful delivery and handover.
You will be responsible for:

Leading and coordinating all mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) elements on site
Working closely with design teams, consultants and subcontractors from pre-construction through to completion
Driving programme, quality assurance and compliance across MEP packages
Managing subcontractor performance and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget
Acting as the key technical lead for all building services mattersWhat We're Looking For

Proven experience as an MEP Manager (or Senior Building Services Engineer ready to step up) within a main contracting environment
Strong technical knowledge across mechanical and electrical disciplines
Experience delivering projects within the residential, commercial or mixed-use sectors
Ability to engage confidently with clients, consultants and delivery teams
