Are you an experienced Environmental and Sustainability professional with a strong background in construction? Are you looking for a highly varied, interesting role where you will have the chance to support the delivery of environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, and ESG performance across a diverse portfolio of construction projects?

We are currently recruiting for an Environmental and Sustainability professional to join a Cardiff based construction company that can boast an excellent reputation.

As Environmental and Sustainability Co-ordinator you will:

·Lead and coordinate BREEAM delivery across multiple construction projects
·Manage, review, and submit BREEAM evidence to appointed Assessors
·Track BREEAM credits, risks, and responsibilities throughout project lifecycles
·Maintain structured, auditable records and evidence files
·Conduct site inspections to ensure BREEAM compliance and environmental best practice
·Support delivery of Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs)
·Ensure compliance with planning conditions, environmental permits, and legislation
·Carry out site audits and environmental inspections
·Support ongoing development and compliance of the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001)
·Contribute to the company's Environmental & Sustainability Strategy
·Support initiatives around:

Carbon reduction and net zero targets
Waste minimisation and resource efficiency
Sustainable materials and procurement

·Provide guidance to project teams on BREEAM, sustainability, and environmental compliance
·Stay up to date with BREEAM standards, environmental legislation, and industry best practice

You will need proven experience delivering BREEAM projects from Design Stage through to Post Construction and a background within Main Contractor, Subcontractor, or a Construction Consultancy
