About the role of Commercial Manager

As Commercial Manager, you will be joining a privately owned Main Contractor whose headquarters are in London. They have been established for over 60 years and have built a strong reputation across London and the South East. They primarily focus on the commercial sector but also deliver projects in healthcare, education, leisure, student accommodation and mixed-use schemes. The project values vary from £10m – £80m with developments located across Central London.

You will be overseeing 3 lives projects which all have a team based on site that will report into you.

Key Responsibilities of Commercial Manager

Include but not limited to;

Oversee the commercial performance of several projects simultaneously
Monitoring profitability and project cash flow
Reviewing procurement strategy
Forecasting project financial performance
Identifying commercial risks and opportunities
Negotiating subcontract terms
Resolving commercial disputes
Mentoring junior staff Key Requirements of Commercial Manager

Live within commutable distance to Central London
JCT contract experience
Experience leading projects from procurement to final accounts
Strong cut & carve/fit out experience
Experience leading a team What's on offer:
