An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Healthcare Architectural Technologist to join a dynamic and growing design team in Sheffield.
You’ll play a key role in the technical development, coordination, and delivery of complex healthcare projects, including new build, refurbishment, and modular construction schemes. There will also be opportunities to contribute across other sectors on a variety of interesting and technically challenging projects.

The role
You will:
• Develop, coordinate, and deliver technical design information across all RIBA stages
• Produce detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications using Revit/BIM
• Work closely with architects, healthcare planners, engineers, and clinical teams
• Translate clinical requirements into functional, compliant, and buildable technical solutions
• Coordinate information from consultants, contractors, and wider project teams
• Undertake site inspections, technical reviews, and quality checks
• Ensure compliance with HTM/HBN guidance, Building Regulations, and project standards
• Support bid submissions, presentations, and technical input for business development activities
• Contribute to the delivery of innovative healthcare environments across a range of project types
What they’re looking for
• Accredited qualification in Architectural Technology
• CIAT membership, or working towards, highly desirable
• Demonstrable experience delivering healthcare projects
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare design requirements
• High proficiency in Revit/BIM
• Excellent knowledge of HTM/HBN guidance and UK Building Regulations
• Experience using ADB (Activity Database) software advantageous
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
• Proactive, organised, and solution-focused approach
• Experience in critical care, acute, or specialist healthcare environments preferred
