Senior Quantity Surveyor – Fire Remediation / Facade – City of London
Salary: Up to £90,000 + package
O’Neill and Brennan are currently working with a well-established main contractor operating heavily within the façade amd internal remediation, fire compliance and building safety sector across London. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of multiple remediation schemes across the Greater London area.
The business delivers a range of façade replacement, fire remediation and occupied residential upgrade projects, including cladding replacement, compartmentation upgrades, fire stopping and fire door packages. They operate across both principal contractor and specialist subcontractor environments and have built a strong reputation within the post-Grenfell remediation market.
Role Overview
Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Project: Fire Remediation / Facade / Building Safety Projects
Location: City of London with projects across Greater London
Salary: Up to £90,000 + package
Start: ASAP but can wait for notice periods
Type: Permanent
Responsibilities
Taking commercial lead responsibility across multiple concurrent façade and fire remediation schemes
Managing subcontract procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts
Commercial management of packages including cladding, fire stopping, compartmentation and fire doors
Producing CVRs, forecasts and cost reporting throughout project lifecycle
Managing client and subcontractor relationships across live occupied environments
Supporting operational teams to ensure successful commercial delivery of projects
Requirements
Experience operating as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor within the façade remediation, fire remediation or building safety sectors
Mixture of main contractor and subcontractor experience preferred
Property Services backgrounds also considered provided there is relevant exposure to fire doors, compartmentation or compliance-led upgrade works
Strong understanding of commercial reporting, subcontract management and contract administration
Ability to manage multiple projects and packages across Greater London
