Project Manager Construction Consultancy
A London-based construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Project Manager to support the delivery of residential and commercial schemes across the capital. This Project Manager role would suit an ambitious, client-facing Project Manager with prior construction consultancy experience and a strong interest in managing varied London-based developments.
The successful Project Manager will join a professional project management team, working across residential, commercial, mixed-use, refurbishment, and new build schemes. This Project Manager position is ideal for someone who is organised, confident with clients, and able to support projects from early briefing and planning stages through to procurement, construction, and handover. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal colleagues to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will support the delivery of residential and commercial projects from inception to completion, ensuring schemes are managed in line with programme, budget, quality, and client expectations.
The Project Manager will assist with client briefing, feasibility, procurement, programme management, risk tracking, consultant coordination, contractor progress reviews, project reporting, and stakeholder communication. The Project Manager will also attend and chair meetings, manage action trackers, monitor progress against programme, support procurement processes, and help ensure projects are delivered to a high standard.
The Project Manager
The Project Manager will ideally have:
A degree in Construction Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related construction discipline
Previous experience working within a construction consultancy
Experience supporting residential, commercial, mixed-use, refurbishment, or new build projects
Good knowledge of project programmes, procurement, reporting, and risk management
Knowledge of JCT contracts and construction procurement routes
Strong communication, organisation, and client-facing skills
A proactive, professional, and team-focused approach
APM, CIOB, RICS, or working towards a relevant professional qualification would be advantageous
