Freelance Site Manager – Lidl Retail Store

Contract Type: Freelance / Temporary

We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to work on a Lidl retail store project at Pinners Retail Park.

The role will involve overseeing day-to-day site operations, managing subcontractors, ensuring health and safety standards are maintained, and helping to deliver the project on programme through to completion in September.

Duties will include:

* Managing daily site activities and trades

* Ensuring works are completed safely and to the required standard

* Coordinating subcontractors and site labour

* Carrying out site inductions and toolbox talks where required

* Monitoring progress against the programme

* Reporting to the Project Manager / Contracts Manager

* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised site

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Site Manager on retail, commercial, or construction projects

* Valid CSCS card

* Own PPE, including hi-vis, safety boots, and hard hat

* Good understanding of health and safety on site

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Available to work on a freelance basis until September
