We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing main contractor, seeking an experienced Working Foreperson to support a strong pipeline of refurbishment and fit-out projects across London.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on position combining site supervision with practical involvement where required. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on programme, to the highest quality standards, and in full compliance with health and safety regulations—particularly within live and occupied environments.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily site activities and coordinate subcontractors

*

Ensure works are delivered in line with programme and quality expectations

*

Maintain high standards of health & safety and site compliance

*

Plan and manage site logistics, materials, and deliveries

*

Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and residents

*

Provide hands-on support on the tools when required

Candidate Profile

*

Proven experience as a Working Foreperson within refurbishment and/or fit-out projects

*

Strong understanding of project sequencing and site coordination

*

Experience working within live or occupied environments

*

Highly organised, proactive, and solution-focused approach

*

Valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification, along with First Aid qualification
