Quantity Surveyor

We have a great opportunity for a Quantity surveyor to join a leading build company in the Midlands.

We are looking for a Quantity surveyor who has experience on projects that include steel frame builds as this particular business work heavily within Industrial construction.

Produce and present monthly CVR Reports for live projects
 Maintain and develop the mcs commercial processes and procedures and apply best practice with a continuous improvement approach, to maximise returns in terms of profit
 Manage, reduce and drive out unnecessary costs and inefficient activities
 Maximise cash flow through the timely preparation of valuations, submission of invoices and receipt of payment
 Manage the prompt preparation and settlement of final accounts, including variations, claims and disputes
 Manage the production of accurate and timely accounts for use in managing the business
 Manage the production of accurate and timely project financial forecasts for use in setting targets and managing the business
 Develop a thorough and in-depth understanding of the contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes relating to the projects to ensure that mcs’s position is protected
 Ensure verbal and important discussions/agreements are recorded in writing (email)

You will be involved with Pre start, On site & Completition so you must have experience from Day 1 of winning the project.
